Mason-Dixon SCI Wraps Up Successful Year

The Mason-Dixon Chapter of Safari Club International has wrapped up another very successful and fulfilling year for its club members, many local charities and organizations, and most importantly the youths of the community and some outstanding young military men recuperating from injuries at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Washington, D.C.

With the proceeds from another successful, annual fundraising banquet held in March and from the many contributions from area individuals and businesses, the club was able to provide donations and sponsorships to local charities, organizations and events, including but not limited to:

Fulton County Pistol & Rifle Club Youth Shooting Program

Fulton County Youth Field Day

Tonolaway Rod & Gun Club Youth Programs

Tuscarora Wildlife Education Program ( TWEP )

Camp Sinoquipe Shooting Programs – Boy Scouts of America

Camp Cadet – Pennsylvania State Police

In total, just over $40,000 was raised and invested by the Mason-Dixon Chapter of SCI in its communities, youths and for some military men and women from Walter Reed NMMC. Chapter is honored to be in a position to be a part of all of the programs and organizations listed. We are humbled by the amount of volunteering support and financial donations we receive from this community to allow us to continue our mission each year. We could not do it without this support.

The Mason-Dixon Chapter of Safari Club International is a group of sportsman dedicated to the promotion of area conservation, wildlife education, and humanitarian causes with a special focus on our local Youth and the members of our Nations’ Armed Forces.
