Statewide Pa. School Grade Data Released
HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) – Pennsylvania education officials say they have released the remaining performance scores for all 3,200 traditional, charter, cyber and technical schools after complaints about inaccurately entered data delayed some for two months.

The state Department of Education says the results indicate that 2,181, or nearly 73 percent, of public schools received a score of 70 or higher.
Some were pleased with their scores, but the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that a spokeswoman for the Clairton School District says some of the performance measures stack the system in the favor of more affluent school districts.
