Winter has arrived and is treating us to a little of that beautiful white coating.

Glad to hear some of those hunters were lucky to get that buck last week. If you didn’t, better luck this week.

The Edith Gallagher family and relatives had their family reunion at Knobsville Church fellowship on Sunday.

Hustontown Fire Co. ladies auxiliary will hold their Christmas party for all members on Wednesday, December 18, at 6 p.m. Bring a covered dish, meat will be furnished. To partipate in the gift exchange bring a $10 gift. Call Shirley Tice at 987-3913 to make reservations.

Our smpathy is extended to the Bob Miller family and relatives of Bonnie Miller who passed away and also to the family and relatives of Ethel Lake who also passed away.

Quite a few folks are well on the way to getting ready for a very special day as we celebrate the Savior’s birth. Sometimes I think we get so busy with shopping, baking and all those things, we sort of forget the real occasion.

Household Hint: Save your plastic lids from coffee cans. Place raw hamburger patties on them and stack, place in plastic bag and freeze. They are easy to separate.
