Hustontown

By Kate Berkstresser

Thanksgiving has passed and Christmas is fast approaching. Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving holiday.

Kate Berkstresser spent the holiday with Harvey and Pat Berkstresser.

Sorry to hear Don and Ann Divens are not feeling so well. We send speedy recovery wishes to them.

Deer season opened on Monday. Hope the hunters have good luck if they haven’t already gotten their buck and safe hunting too.

James and Alice Chesnut spent Thanksgiving Day with their daughter, Cathy, and family.

Happy birthday wishes to Caitlin Black on December 1 and Haley Peck on December 12.

Some Fulton County folks headed north to hunt those bucks.

It sounds like Ole Man Winter might be approaching real soon.

Household Hint: Remove pet hair from your clothes in a jiffy. Dampen a sponge with warm water, wring out the sponge and lightly wipe it over your clothes. It will pick the hair right up. If it doesn’t pick up most of the hair, try wetting the sponge with this solution: several drops of glycerin to 1 cup of water.
