Court Session Held Nov. 19

Judge Carol L. Van Horn of the 39th Judicial District and the Fulton/Franklin County Court of Common Pleas presided over a court session held at the Fulton County Courthouse on Tuesday, November 19.

 Heather Nicole Downey was sentenced to 18 months probation and $100 to the Fulton County Law Library in connection with a case that involved theft by unlawful taking, tampering with records and theft of services.

 Erica Ann Lund was sentenced last Tuesday on charges of retail theft to 36 months intermediate punishment, which will include six months of electronic monitoring and participation at the Day Reporting Center. The sentence will be followed by an additional 24 months probation for possession of an access device with knowledge the item is counterfeit or altered. She will also pay $100 to the Fulton County Law Library.

 Joseph Anthony Runk waived his right to formal arraignment on three counts of theft by deception and one count of forgery. Runk entered a not-guilty plea to all charges and will next appear in court in January 2014 for call of the criminal trial list.
