Nathan D. Dean Big Cove Tannery, 22

Nathan Dominique Dean, 22, Big Cove Tannery, died Sunday, November 17, 2013.

He was born June 13, 1991, in Cincinatti, Ohio, the son of Charles and Alleene (Jeffreys) Dean.

He was a 2010 graduate of the Fulton County Community Christian School. He also completed the auto mechanic program at Pennsylvania Commonwealth Technical Institute in 2011.

He attended Needmore Bible Church in Needmore.

He is survived by his parents, Charles and Alleene Dean of McConnellsburg; eight siblings: Rachel Dean of Pittsburgh; Sarah Dean of Chambersburg; James Dean of College Park, Md.; Joanna (wife of Stephen) Van Meter of Hancock; Joshua Dean of McConnellsburg; Amie Dean of Mc- Connellsburg; Amber Dean of Connellsville, Pa.; and Evan Dean of McConnellsburg; a grandmother, Jessie Dean of Connellsville, Pa.; and one nephew, Levi Van Meter of Hancock.

He was preceded in death by three grandparents: Rev. Frank Dean and James and Harriet Jeffreys

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 23, 2013, at 11 a.m., at Needmore Bible Church in Needmore, with Rev. Doug Poffenberger and Rev. Jerry Roth officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the service.
