Compete At State Horse Show

Members from Fulton County Horse & Pony Club competed at the 2013 State Horse Show held at the Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg October 25-27, 2013. Lindsey Palmer, showing “Truman,” competed in the open trail ponies class. Krista DeShong, showing “ South Lawn’s Early Dawn,” competed in the 2-year- old fillies (registered) miniature horses class and placed third. McKenzie Gelvin, showing “Frosty,” competed in the 2-year- old geldings (grade) miniature horses class and placed second. She also competed in the pole bending horses, senior rider, showing “Flits Little Star.” Caitlin Glazier, showing “PSU A Real Shadow,” competed in the 3-year- old fillies quarter horses class and placed seventh. She competed in the English Pleasure Futurity – 3-yearolds class , showing “PSU A Real Shadow,” and placed second. She competed in the English Pleasure Futurity – 5-yearolds class, showing “PSU Steppin Kuel,” and placed sixth. She competed in the hunt seat equitation (on the flat) senior rider class, showing “PSU Steppin Kuel.” She competed in the breed type hunter under saddle, senior rider class, showing “PSU Steppin Kuel,” and placed fifth; and she competed in the miniature horse-inhand trail class, showing “Cateele’s Little Bear,” and placed seventh. Tory Layton, showing “Rocky Pines Grand Finale,” competed in the 3-year-old geldings (grade) miniature horses class and placed sixth. She competed in the English pleasure futurity – 5-year-olds class, showing “Levis Cool Spirit.” She also competed in the English grooming and showmanship, junior division class, showing “Levis Cool Spirit;” and she competed in the breed type hunter under saddle, junior rider class and placed fourth.

Karlie Ward, showing “Scout,” competed in the 2- year- old geldings (grade) miniature horses class and placed first. Kelsi Kendall, showing “Vin Diesel,” competed in the 3- year- old geldings (grade) miniature horses class and placed fifth; and she competed in the hunter under saddle ponies (large) class, showing “I Love Lucy.”
