Court Session Held November 5

STAFF REPORT

Judge Shawn D. Meyers of the 39th Judicial District and the Fulton/Franklin County Court of Common Pleas presided over a court session held at the Fulton County Courthouse on Tuesday, November 5.

 Jeffery Mark Chesnut was sentenced to 36 months Intermediate Punishment, which will include four months participation in the SCRAM program. Chesnut will also pay a $200 fine in connection with terroristic threats.

 Kyle Eugene Southard was sentenced to 18 months probation and a $50 fine for retail theft.

 Starrla Daratip Donavanik appeared for formal arraignment on charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana and the use or possession of drug paraphernalia. Donavanik was sentenced to participate in the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program and will complete 12 months probation.

 Mitchel Lansing Fletcher waived his right to formal arraignment on charges of the corruption of minors and selling or furnishing liquor to minors. Fletcher entered a guilty plea to selling or furnishing liquor to minors. He will be sentenced December 10.

 Richard Thomas Foy waived mandatory arraignment on two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and one summary offense. Foy will complete 12 months probation through the ARD program.

 David Lang was entered into the ARD program and will complete 12 months probation in connection with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and three summary offenses.

 Shane William Meck waived arraignment and entered a not-guilty plea to two counts of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and three summary offenses. Meck will reappear in court for the January 2014 call of the criminal trial list.

 Chris Alan Neil Sr. waived arraignment proceedings and pleaded not guilty to two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, one count of endangering the welfare of children and three summary offenses. Neil will reappear in court during the January call of the criminal trial list.

 Meghan Elizabeth Shauf pleaded guilty to firearm ownership and was sentenced to three months probation.

 Conner Glenn Taylor was entered into the ARD program and will complete 12 months probation for possession of a small amount of marijuana and the use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
