We had a beautiful weekend, but those fall temperatures are here, warning us that winter weather is starting to approach.

There was a nice attendance at Knobsville United Methodist Church on Sunday morning. Everyone is welcome to come out on Sundays to worship at Knobsville United Methodist Church at 8:30 a.m.

Happy birthday wishes to Dorothy Brant.

Hustontown Area Volunteer Fire Co. will sponsor a food auction on Saturday, November 16, at 2 p. m. Kitchen opens at noon. Mike Sullivan is the vendor. Frozen foods, snacks, green goods, and miscellanous items will be available for auction. Our firemen appreciate your support for the fundraisers.

Hustontown Area Volunteer Fire Co. will sponsor a shooting match Saturday, November 16, at 1 p.m. Signin begins at noon. Prizes will be awarded and shells furnished. A special round for a Thanksgiving meal box will be held.

Hustontown Fire Co. and ladies auxiliary wish to thank all past, present and future military veterans for their wonderful and dedicated service to our country.

Household Hint: Lipstick can be a problem. First soften the stain with a bit of vaseline. Dab it with alcohol or hydrogen peroxide and launder as usual.

There will be a pie sale at Knobsville United Methodist Church on Saturday, November 29, at 9 a.m.
