Trent E. Hess Mill Creek, 24

Trent Edward Hess, 24, Mill Creek, died at 6:40 p.m., Saturday, October 26, 2013, at his residence.

Born March 6, 1989, in Huntingdon, he was the son of Gary and Susan Anne (Hess) Watkins.

He is survied by two brothers: Trae Hess and Garrett Watkins, both of Huntingdon; a sister, Sierra Watkins, Huntingdon; grandparents: Marlin and Mary ( Lynn) Watkins of Robertsdale; a girlfriend, Ashley Wilson, Mill Creek; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Autumn Jennifer Hess-Watkins in 1992; and grandparents: Norman and Judy Kay (Kyle) Hess.

He was a member of Three Springs Baptist Church.

He was a 2007 graduate of Southern Huntingdon County High School.

He was employed as a guard with Secure Guard for two years and had recently started working for the Slinky factory, Hollidaysburg, as a factory worker.

He was an avid outdoorsman and especially loved hunting and trapping. He also enjoyed playing football and spending time on the weekends with his special cousin, Chester “Chub” Duvall and wife Mary in Chambersburg. He was an avid fan of Penn State football.

He was a lifetime resident of Huntingdon County and lived on Church Street, Huntingdon, prior to moving to his Mill Creek residence.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Friday, November 1, at Cutright Funeral Homes, Huntingdon. Rev. Ed Seeley officiated. Interment was in Mount Zion Church Cemetery.
