Court Session Held October 29

STAFF REPORT

Judge Angela R. Krom of the 39th Judicial District and the Fulton/Franklin County Court of Common Pleas presided over a court session held on Tuesday, October 29, at the Fulton County Courthouse.

 Oscar F. Benitez waived formal arraignment on two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and four summary offenses. Benitez pleaded guilty to driving under the influence and will be sentenced November 26.

 Kourtney Lee Branche entered a not-guilty plea to retail theft after waiving his right to mandatory arraignment. Branche will next appear in court for the January trial term.

 Brandon Michael Cook waived his right to mandatory arraignment on one count of fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, seven counts of recklessly endangering another person and two summary offenses. Cook pleaded guilty to fleeing or attempting to elude and will be sentenced December 17.

 Jeffrey Eugene Gibson Jr. waived arraignment and was entered into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program on two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and two summary offenses. Gibson will complete 12 months probation.

 Michael Bret Golden appeared in court last Tuesday for arraignment proceedings on one count of simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and harassment. Golden pleaded guilty to simple assault and will be sentenced on December 10.

 Seabrinia Ann Green waived arraignment on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and harassment. Green entered a guilty plea to simple assault and will be sentenced December 17.

 Shane Stewart Hill entered a not-guilty plea to theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. Hill will next appear in court for the January trial term.

 Bradley Eugene Hockenberry was admitted into the ARD program and will complete 12 months probation on charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana and the use or possession of drug paraphernalia. He will also complete 30 hours of community service.

 Charles James Rhodes was admitted into the ARD program and will complete 12 months probation for three counts of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and two summary offenses.

 Stuart Neal Totten waived arraignment and pleaded not guilty to two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and two summary offenses. Totten will next appear in court for the January trial term.

 Rodney Victor Wolfe waived his right to mandatory arraignment and entered a plea of guilty to one of two counts of receiving stolen property. He will be sentenced December 10.

 Heather Marie Kennedy voluntarily appeared in court on a bench warrant after she failed to failed to appear for call of the criminal trial list last month. Kennedy is next scheduled to appear in court on January 14 for call of the list on two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and three summary offenses.

 Brandon Michael Barrick failed to appear in court for a probation/parole-violation hearing. A bench warrant was issued for his arrest.

 Terrie Lee Box failed to appear in court for a probation/ parole-violation hearing. A bench warrant was issued for her arrest.

 Tracey Deneen Jefferson appeared for a probation/ parole-violation hearing and was resentenced to 16 to 48 months in a state correctional institution. She will be eligible for boot camp and was granted credit for time served since her arrest in early October.
