Knobsville Church of the Brethren held its revival services last weekend with speaker Dale Glading.

Warfordsburg Senior Center held a game/movie night with refreshments last Friday evening.

A benefit dinner was held Saturday evening for Thomas H. Deshong at Mc- Connellsburg Firehall.

The Boston Red Sox won the 2013 World Series championship, beating out the St. Louis Cardinals.
