Don Kreitz Jr. closed the Williams Grove Speedway with another impressive victory as he topped the 25-lap 410 Sprint car feature Saturday night.
Kreitz’s win came in the Sprint car portion of the Fall Fest, and his fourth win of the year made him the leading winner at the track this season in his Kassidy Kreitz Racing No. 69K.
Kreitz started 10th on the grid and worked his way through the field, first by using the low line to get up to third when he had to switch lines to get around teammate Ryan Smith for third.
Kreitz then used a low pass on Pat Cannon and then drove around the outside of race-long leader Rick Lafferty with 16 laps complete to seal the deal.
Once out front, the Sinking Spring veteran drove off from the field to post his 58th career track win.
Brian Montieth made a late-race charge to finish in the runner-up spot ahead of Lafferty, Cannon of Etters and Smith.
Tyler Ross notched his first career Williams Grove feature win in the 20-lap 358 Sprint car main.
Ross led all the way in his win over Carlisle’s Chandler Leiby; Ryan Wilson; 2013 track champ Kevin Nouse, up from 12th and Austin Hogue.
Dillsburg’s Rich Eichelberger started on the front row of the Super Sportsman feature and never looked back in the caution-filled event.
Eichelberger’s second win of the season came over Scott Geesey, Carmen Perigo Jr., Russ Mitten and Bobby Hockenberry.
Defending track champion and the area’s leading 358 Late Model winner, Gene Knaub, dominated the 20-lap event for that division.
In another cautionladen event, it was all Knaub out front in scoring his fifth track win of the year and 20th overall on the season. JR Rodriqguez, Chaz Walls, Trtavis Mease and Pat McNeal were the top five.
Congratulations to Logan Wagner on his 12th win of the season last Sunday at Hill Valley Speedway in the PASS 305 Sprints. Logan won the 2013 PASS championship as well.
