Thomas A. Golden Clear Ridge, Pa., 67

Thomas Allan Golden, 67, Clear Ridge, PA, died Sunday, October 27, 2013.

Born May 28, 1946, in Allegany County, Md., he was the son of the late Melvin Golden and Dorothy Deshong Golden.

He accepted Jesus as his Savior and Lord and lived for Him. He belonged to Buck Valley Christian Church, in Warfordsburg, and Colonial Hills Baptist Church in Bedford.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife, Emeline Virginia ( Hess) Rager Golden; one son, Thomas Golden, of Hancock; two daughters: Dorothy and husband, Rodney Unger and Cheryl and Keith Apple, of Little Orleans, Md.; a number of grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, Bay Janet Keiholtz; step-sons William and Julie Rager, of Michigan; Neil and Kim Rager, Kip and Stephanie Rager, stepdaughter, Angela and Jeff Nickols, all of Ohio; brothers: Maple and Shirley Golden, Leslie and Mary Ann Golden, all of Hancock; and a sister, Marlene (Golden) Barnhart, of Warfordsburg.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Ellen (Carlisle) Golden; one son, William Golden; and a sister, Carol Hope Ritz.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. at Buck Valley Christian Church on Thursday, October 31, 2013, with Pastor Robert Smith and Pastor Scott Gibbs officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg, W.Va.
