District Elks Soccer Shoot Held


U-8 Girls/Boys: Sawere Truax, Colton Hunsecker, Carter Camplese and Marisa Kyner, U-8 Girls/Boys: Sawere Truax, Colton Hunsecker, Carter Camplese and Marisa Kyner, On Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Brightbill Park in Harrisburg, the South Central District held it’s annual District Elks Soccer Shoot. One district record was tied, and two records were broken. The results are as follows:

U-8 Girls

First – Sawere Truax, daughter of Lisa and Brad Truax of Needmore, with a score of 29; second – Marisa Kyner from Carlisle scored 20.

U-8 Boys

Colton Hunsecker, son of Shannon and Rodney Hunsecker of Chambersburg, with a score of 39. Colton tied the district record. Carter Camplese of West Shore placed second scoring 15.

U-10 Girls

First – Alaryn Swope, daughter of Wendy Sipes of McConnellsburg and Kevin Swope of Harrisonville, with a score of 44. Alaryn set a new district record. Kelsey Shoap of Carlise came in second with a score of 34.


U-10 Girls Boys: Chase Henry, Wyatt Pine, Alaryn Swope and Kelsey Shoap. U-10 Girls Boys: Chase Henry, Wyatt Pine, Alaryn Swope and Kelsey Shoap. U-10 Boys

First – Chase Henry, son of Terri and James Henry of Carlisle, with a score of 38; second – Wyatt Pine, son of Beverly Merle Pine of Mercersburg, with a score of 31.

U-12 Girls

First – Addy Crouse, daughter of Jennifer Crouse of Chambersburg and Travis Crouse of Big Cove Tannery with a score of 34; second – Alyson Henry, daughter of Terri and James Henry of Carlisle with a score of 26 and third place went to Elisabeth Camplese of West Shore with a score of 21.

U-12 Boys

First – Brady Keyser, son of Dianna and Brian Keyser of Steelton, with a score of 29; second – Garrett Bunch, son of Donna and Randy Bunch of McConnellsburg, with a score of 26.


U-12 Girls/Boys: Brady Keyser, Garrett Bunch, Alyson Henry, Addy Crouse and Elisabeth Camplese. U-12 Girls/Boys: Brady Keyser, Garrett Bunch, Alyson Henry, Addy Crouse and Elisabeth Camplese. U-14 Girls

First – Ashlee Rowles, daughter of Bobbi Rowles of Shippensburg, with a score of 31; second - Kalie Bistline of Carlisle with a score of 19.

U-14 Boys

First Brian Rotheram of Harrisburg.

Brian set a new district record with a score of 59; second – Derek Pine, son of Beverly and Merle Pine of Mercersburg, with a score of 42.

Sawere Truax, Colton Hunsecker, Alaryn Swope, Wyatt Pine, Addy Crouse, Garrett Bunch, Ashlee Rowles and Derek Pine represented the Chambersburg Elks Lodge #600 in the district competition. Marisa Kyner, Kelsey Shoap, Chase Henry, Alyson Henry and Kalie Bistline represented the Carlisle Elks Lodge #578. Representing the Harrisburg Elks Lodge #12 were Brady Keyser and Brian Rotheram. Representing West Shore Elks Lodge #2257 were Carter Camplese and Elisabeth Camplese.


U-14 Girls/Boys: Derek Pine, Brian Rotheram, Ashlee Rowles and Kalie Bistline. U-14 Girls/Boys: Derek Pine, Brian Rotheram, Ashlee Rowles and Kalie Bistline. Representing the South Central Elks District at the Pennsylvania State Championship Soccer Shoot Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Mount Nittany Middle School will be Sawere Truax, Colton Hunsecker, Alaryn Swope, Chase Henry, Addy Crouse, Brady Keyser, Ashlee Rowles and Brian Rotheram.
