Freda Raker was a selftaught artist who illustrated her love for the simple things in life through her watercolor paintings. She especially loved winter snow scenes and wild flowers, all of which will be featured at Towne Framing and Gallery during the Fulton Fall Folk Festival.

Raker was a talented artist who began her artwork with watercolors but parlayed that talent into designing soft sculpture for the Overly-Raker business. That, along with clay sculpting, overtook her watercolor painting.

More recently a treasure trove of her paintings, from a private collection, has been discovered and will present the public an opportunity to own a Raker original.
