GILBERTON, Pa. (AP) – A hearing for a controversial Pennsylvania police chief was halted when a handgun slipped from the holster of someone who was in attendance to support the chief.

The hearing was for Chief Mark Kessler. He posted online videos of himself shooting automatic weapons while screaming profanities about liberals and the Second Amendment.

The hearing was stopped when the handgun clattered onto the concrete floor directly behind Kessler and his lawyer. The supporter was asked to leave the cramped hearing room.
