Crop Walk Raises $3,758 To Fight Hunger

Pictured above are some of the 90 people who participated in this year’s Fulton County Crop Walk on October 6 at Cowans Gap State Park. Walkers included members of six local churches and Cub Scout Pack 43. Organizers said the annual walk was the best attended ever and the most successful, raising $3,758 to help support the work of Church World Service in fighting hunger and poverty all over the world. Twenty-five percent of the money raised here will be given to the Fulton County Food Basket to fight hunger locally.
