Character Counts Students Named

McConnellsburg Elementary is continuing its character education program this year. It is believed that character counts, so every month a different character trait is promoted. In September citizenship was focused on and how to obey rules, laws, respect others and show positive teamwork. Some other traits to be worked on this school year are compassion, fairness, honesty, integrity, perseverance, responsibility, respect and self-discipline. The following students were chosen by their teacher in demonstrating the qualities of a good citizen:

Mary Rotz, Izobel Welsh, Kendall Earley, George Richards, Kyleigh Smalley, Elianna Goddisart, Kaitlyn Siko, Lainnie Glenn, Alexis Hoover, Claire Bloomer, Sophia Carbaugh, Aaliyah Walters, Rogue Skiles, Emily Barclay, Bo Carbaugh, Madison Peck, Ethan Mellott, Justin Ulsh, Madison Rosenberry, Karson Washabaugh, Tatiana Hollinshead, Raegan Shindle, Tobias McGarvey, Rielle Keefer, Aaron Mumma and Landon Bishop.
