Kayaker’s Body Found In Youghiogheny River
COULTERS, Pa. (AP) – An autopsy has been set on the body of a kayaker found two days after the man was reported missing near the Youghiogheny River in southwestern Pennsylvania.
The body of 58-year-old James Leffard, of White Oak, was found in the river in South Versailles Township about 2 p.m. Sunday. Leffard was reported missing about 8:30 p.m. Friday after his vehicle – along with his cellphone and identification – was found parked near his unoccupied kayak along the river bank.
It was unclear whether Leffard died in an accident or of an unrelated medical problem.
