New Construction In Business Park

While two downtown buildings were being razed this week (See Page A3), two new buildings are under construction in the Fulton County Business Park. Above is the architect’s rendering of the new Pennsylvania State Police, McConnellsburg Barracks. With excavation well under way, Veon Construction is beginning work on the foundation for the new 8,000-square-foot barracks. Below, the new Marmon/Keystone building is nearly finished. Palmer Construction is the general contractor for the 43,000-square-foot building that will house the wholesale distributor of tubular products. Locally the company cuts metal for JLG Industries. Marmon/Keystone, a Berkshire Hathaway company, operates in more than 30 locations and employs over 1200 people.
