Jehovah’s Witnesses Attend Bible Seminar

“What an encouraging program” was the sentiment expressed by local Jehovah’s Witnesses who attended a two-day Bible seminar at Assembly Hall of Jehovah’s witnesses in Grantville, Pa., just east of Harrisburg. According to Dan Ritondo, a local congregation elder, there were more than 60 Witnesses from the McConnellsburg congregation who attended the event as families.

The them was “God’s Word Is Beneficial For Teaching.” Traveling overseer for central Pennsylvania Marquis Tolliver emphasized the importance of imitating Jesus’s “ Way of Teaching” in his talk on Saturday. Traveling overseer for Jehovah’s witnesses Everett Rodrigues helped all in attendance to see the value of teaching themselves. Then in his final talk on Sunday, he spoke on the subject “Work Hard to Remain In Jehovah’s Teaching!”

A key part of the Saturday program was a public baptism of qualified ones who dedicated themselves to do God’s will. There were 558 in attendance.
