Court Session Held
Judge Shawn D. Meyers of the 39th Judicial District and the Fulton/ Franklin County Court of Common Pleas presided over a court session held Tuesday, September 3, at the Fulton County Courthouse.
Daniel Stevenson Pluto was sentenced via video conferencing on one count of forgery and theft by unlawful taking. He will serve 24 months in the state intermediate punishment program, which will begin with seven months incarceration in a state correctional institution. Pluto was granted credit for time previously served and will pay $300 in fines and a $150 Central Booking fee.
Jeffery Mark Chesnut waived his right to formal arraignment on one count each of aggravated assault, propulsion of missiles into an occupied vehicle, terroristic threats, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and harassment. Chesnut pleaded guilty to propulsion of missiles and will be sentenced November 5.
Heather Marie Kennedy failed to appear in court last Tuesday for arraignment on two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and three summary offenses.
A bench warrant was issued for the arrest of Kennedy.
Kyle Eugene Southard waived arraignment proceedings and entered a plea of guilty to retail theft. He will be sentenced November 5.
Roosevelt Washington waived arraignment proceedings held on two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and four summary offenses. Washington pleaded not guilty and is scheduled to appear in court on October 8 for call of the criminal trial list.
Chanda D. Zimmerman was sentenced to 12 months probation for fraudulently obtaining food stamps or assistance. She will also pay a $100 fine.
