The descendants of the late Virgil and Margaret Pittman held their annual summer picnic on Sunday at the VFW picnic grounds.
A joint parish service/ picnic was held Sunday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Big Cove Tannery. Around a 100 people were in attendance. It was catered by Marianne Hoffman of Country Catering, and homemade desserts served and made by the church members were very tasty.
