Gift shop volunteers Sally Cover, Joyce Cover and Helen Overly pose outside the Corner Gift shop after a busy day of selling items in the gift shop. With nearly 200 customers, the Fulton County Medical Center Corner Gift Shop has turned two years old in a big way. The gift shop had a “popping” party with customers popping balloons for their discount. Depending on their luck, they received discounts ranging from 15 to 35 percent off retail prices.

Gift shop coordinator Helen Overly would like to thank the following volunteers for making this gift shop a success over the past two years: Barb Sowers, Brenda Palmer, Mary Lou Eisenhower, Nancy Younker, Sally Cover, Carolyn Kneas, Jane Mac- Donald, Doug Gresty, Joyce Cover, Judy Eisaman, Phyllis Reel, Judy Shade, Kay Boden, LaRue Waters, Linda Culler, Linda Garber, Sue Tomlinson, and Violet Culler.

The Corner Gift Shop is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. It’s open to the public and sells a variety of seasonal items, home furnishings, books, cards and unique gift items.
