Court Session Held August 20
President Judge Douglas W. Herman of the 39th Judicial District and the Fulton/ Franklin County Court of Common Pleas presided over a court session held at the Fulton County Courthouse on Tuesday, August 20.
Warren David Kerlin appeared for sentencing but was granted a continuance until September 17. Kerlin’s counsel, public defender Dwight Harvey, stated the continuance was needed to allow the defense and their expert witness sufficient time to review a report from the sexual offender assessment board. Kerlin pleaded guilty in May to various sexual acts with a teenager.
Ashley Marie Ronnenberger was sentenced to 72 hours to six months in the Franklin County Jail for driving under the influence of a controlled substance. She will be paroled upon completion of the minimum sentence and will pay a $1,000 fine.
Joshua Weaver was sentenced to 15 to 60 months in a state correctional institution for burglary. Credit was granted for time served, and he will be eligible for participation in the RRRI program. Restitution in the amount of $1,868 will be paid to Larry Knepper and just shy of $100 is owed to Famous Pawn Brokers.
Cody Marie Watkins appeared in court last Tuesday for an Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program termination hearing. Watkins was granted a 12-month extension to complete ARD beginning retroactive June 19.
