Hershey Throws First Pitch At Curve Game



Wyatt Hershey, 8, of McConnellsburg, got the honor of throwing out the first pitch at the Altoona Curve baseball game on Saturday, August 10. The Curve, the Pittsburgh Pirates’ minor league team, played the Harrisburg Senators and won 5-4. Wyatt is the son of Bob and Misty Hershey of McConnellsburg. “It was really cool playing on the same field that Andrew McCutchen and Pedro Alvarez once played on,” said Wyatt after the game.
