The World of Outlaws Summer Nationals was cut to a one- day show at Williams Grove Speedway, and storms forced cancellation on Friday night.

Saturday night, just when it appeared Greg Hodnett was going to score the big win for the local, his motor dropped a cylinder and Donny Schatz was there for the kill. Schatz took the lead with three to go and drove to the $15,000 win over Hodnett, Lance Dewease, Fred Rahmer and Craig Dollansky.

Brock Zearfoss drove to his first career 358 Sprint car win Saturday night at Selinsgrove Speedway over Josh Beard, Jason Shultz, Ryan Kissinger and Nyle Berkes.

Teenage driver Hayes Mattern raced to his firstever Late Model win at Selinsgrove, holding off eighttime track champ Jeff Rine, Ken Trevitz, Bryan Bernheisel and Jim Bernheisel for the win.

Greg Hodnett won Thursday night’s 410 Sprint car feature at Lincoln Speedway after coming out on top of a great three-car battle with Fred Rahmer and Alan Krimes. Hodnett’s win came over Krimes, Rahmer, Jim Siegel and Logan Schuchart.

Jeff Rohrbaugh won the 358 Sprint car feature at Lincoln over Doug Hammaker, Chase Dietz, Niki Young and Tim Wagaman.

Gene Knaub won his fourth 358 Late Model feature Saturday at Susquehanna Speedway over Randy Christine Jr., Justin Ehrhart, JR Rodriguez and Billy Wampler, while Scott Dellinger won the Super Sportsman Tour main at SSP over Rick Barr, Frankie Herr, Russ Mitten and Gregg Foster.

JT Spence continued his winning ways at Winchester Speedway as he won Friday’s Mike Clore Memorial for Late Models at the track, which was his fifth win of the year at the track. He defeated Rick Eckert, Jason Covert, Gary Stuhler and Trever Feathers.

Friday night racing at Trail-Way Speedway PA Posse members Lance Dewease and Danny Dietrich scored wins in New York last week as both drivers picked up an All- Star Circuit of Champion win. Dewease won at Fulton Speedway while Dietrich won at Fonda Speedway. Dewease continues to lead the All-Star East region points with two races remaining at Port Royal in September.
