Harrison – Leese United In Marriage


Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Harrison Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Harrison Jamie Ellen Leese and Jacob Anthony Harrison were united in marriage February 2, 2013. The candlelight ceremony was held at Hollowell Brethren in Christ Church, Waynesboro, Pa., and officiated by Rev. Blane Lougheed.

The bride, escorted by her father, chose a floorlength, white ballroom gown with an off-theshoulder ruched bodice, asymmetrical at the waist, with hand-jeweled detailing over the skirt and train. She carried a bouquet of white roses and mixed succulents and wore succulents in her hair.

The bridal party, also adorned in Grecian-style gowns, wore teal taffeta off-the-shoulder, flowing floor-length gowns, with ruching above the princess waistline. All attendants carried hand bouquets of white carnations and mixed succulents.

Matron of honor was Christina Standridge, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Melissa Wilson, friend of the bride, Jessica Owens, friend of the bride, and Sarah Harrison, sister-in-law of the groom.

The groom chose a black tuxedo with a white vest and tie, while the groomsmen were attired in black tuxedos with teal vests and ties. The best man was Tyler Harrison, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Timothy Blacker, friend of the groom, Zeke Ricoy, friend of the groom, and Nicholas Leese, brother of the bride.

Parents of the bride are Charles and Teresa Leese, Needmore.Grandparents of the bride are Chester and Dorothy Grove, Chambersburg, and the late Vernon and Velma Leese, formerly of Needmore.

Parents of the groom are Pete and Detsie Harrison, Chambersburg. Grandparents are Gerald Harrison, Ortanna, Pa., Robert and Shirley Koontz, and Marvin and Irene Etter of Chambersburg.

Jamie is a graduate of McDaniel College, Westminister, Md., and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in social work at Shippensburg University.

Jacob is a graduate of Valley Forge Christian College, Philadelphia, and is employed as the congregational life pastor at Hollowell Brethren in Christ Church, Waynesboro, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in divinity, Regent University, Virginia Beach, Va.

After a honeymoon to Riu Negril Resort in Negril, Jamaica, the couple reside in Chambersburg.
