Wheelchair Stolen From Paraplegic’s Porch In Pa.
UPPER DARBY, Pa. (AP) – Police are investigating after a paraplegic man says someone stole a wheelchair he’d left parked on a landing outside his home in Upper Darby.
WPVI-TV reports 48-yearold Andrew Hinson says he’d left the brand new custom wheelchair outside over the weekend because breaking down the chair is a lot of work. He says he left it on the landing Saturday night and it was gone Sunday. The chair goes for about $1,500.
Detectives with Upper Darby police are investigating. But Hinson says he just wants the chair back, no questions asked.
