Thanks to all who bought tickets. Also to all friends, families and businesses who helped in selling the tickets for this fundraiser. Thanks to Pittman’s Supermarket for letting us sell tickets at their store.

The raffle drawing was held Saturday, July 7, at Gordon’s Cruise-In. Thanks agin to Angie and Dennis Gordon for letting us set up and hold the drawing at their business. Thanks to all who came Saturday evening for the drawing and those who helped with selling and the raffle drawing.

We greatly appreciated all the help and support from the community for the Scouting program and the center. This fundraiser will help with the upkeep and expenses of the center and for the Scout troop’s activities.

McConnellsburg Senior Center would like to thank the F.O.E., the VFW and Mac- Donald’s Pharmacy for the donations made earlier this year .

With the donations we received we were able to purchase two lift chairs, one commode riser along with two handrails, a new stove, phones with caller ID and answering machines, a new copier, ink cartridges, a laminator, a blood pressure monitor, items to make up sunshine bags for those who used to come to the center but are now sick or are shut-ins.

We also had a chicken day and hoagie day with some of the donated money.

A special thanks to Mac- Donald’s Pharmacy for donating a glucose monitor to the center.

Thanks to your generous donations the center was able to purchase and enjoy all these things.
