A 90th birthday party was held for Alice Mellott by her family on Sunday, July 7, in the social activity room at Fulton County Medical Center.

Wanda Souders and Deb Welsh returned home from vacationing in Hawaii for 10 days. They visited Honolulu, Maui and Kona islands.

The Farm Women held their annual family picnic Sunday at Buchanan’s Birthplace.

The descendants of Thorton and Mabel Mellott held their annual reunion on Sunday at Needmore Community Center.

George Reeder of Florida recently visited folks here. George grew up in this area. His parents owned the Reeder Store.
