FCMC Acquires 68 Acres

Fulton County Medical Center Board of Directors is pleased to announce the acquisition of 68 acres of land from David A. Washabaugh III and Joyce M. Washabaugh. The acquisition now gives the Medical Center a 90-acre campus to provide healthcare services for many generations to follow. “It isn’t every day that land becomes available in this beautiful landscape, especially bordering your property,” said President and CEO Jason Hawkins. The Medical Center will begin to explore over the next few years various opportunities of growth and will begin meeting with various agencies and authorities to evaluate for potential growth in healthcare services. If it wasn’t for the Washabaugh family’s generous donation of the first 22 acres in 1996, FCMC would not have been able to build on their current campus.
