Another beautiful weekend with some showers. As we travel around take time to notice the beauty that spring brings. Spring also has folks busy getting those gardens, cornfields, etc., ready to plant. After it is all planted do take time to put our faith with the Master for production.

Glad to report Pastor Bill is recovering after having arm surgery.
We extend our sympathy to the family and relatives of Joan Houck, who passed away last week.
Knobsville United Methodist Church will have a chicken barbecue Saturday, May 4, at 11 a.m.
A large garage sale will be held at Kate Berkstresser’s on Saturday, May 4, and Saturday, May 11.
We send get well wishes to Mike Helman, who is having some physical problems.
Hustontown Area Volunteer Fire Co. will sponsor its annual Mother’s Day smorgasbord on Sunday, May 12 at 11 a.m. Featured will be a variety of meats, vegetables, salads and desserts. A great place to take Mother and also support the firemen as they are always at your call when needed.
Household hint: Mildew problem. Soak in white vinegar or dab on lemon juice and salt and put in the sunshine. Blot repeatedly with hydrogen peroxide or soak overnight in buttermilk or sour milk.
