Three Springs Annual Homecoming May 23-26

The annual Three Springs Firemen and Lions homecoming carnival will be held in Three Springs Thursday, May 23 thru Sunday, May 26. The annual firemen’s parade will begin at 7 p.m., May 23. Individuals, groups, marching units, floats, fire companies and ambulance associations who desire to participate in the parade should contact Dave Grace at 814-448-2596.

After the parade, entertainment will be provided by the Sugar Ridge Band and also a magic show by Hubie the Clown. The Sharptones will provide a variety of music from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s from 7 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. on Friday, May 24.

The annual car show will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 25 at the swimming pool parking lot. To register call Harold Harper at 814- 448-3832 or Charles Harper at 814-448-3775. A chicken barbecue will begin at 11 a.m. at the firehall. A Little League game will begin at noon on Saturday, and Huntingdon county’s new 911 simulator will be on display from noon until 3 p.m. on Saturday.

The Fabulous Flashbacks will be the featured entertainment form 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday.

On Sunday, May 26, a community worship service will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the tabernacle. A hot, roast turkey sandwich dinner will be available immediately following the service. Proceeds benefit Three Springs Fire Co. D.J. Rick Hamilton and karaoke will be at the tabernacle from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., and the Old Friends Band will provide a gospel music program from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. A firemen’s memorial service will be held at 7 p.m.

Everyone is invited to come and enjoy the good food, homemade ice cream, free entertainment nightly and fellowship.
