Second Annual Earth Day Celebration

Area children braved some chilly, windy weather Saturday morning to participate in the second annual Earth Day Festival at the Fulton County Library. The four-hour event, hosted by the library’s Teen Advisory Board, included a fur identification table overseen by Pennsylvania Game Commission Deputy Wildlife Conservation Officer Jim Fittry (above) as well as games, garden planters, a robot demonstration, blue bird box building, face painting, crafts from recyclables and even an appearance by Iditarod Teacher on the Trail Herb Brambley and his sled dogs.
