Judge Krom Presides Over Court Session
Judge Angela R. Krom of the 39th Judicial District and the Fulton/Franklin County Court of Common Pleas presided over a court session held on Tuesday, April 16, at the Fulton County Courthouse.
Gary Eugene Bradshaw was sentenced last Tuesday for driving under the influence controlled substance. Bradshaw was ordered to 60 months of Intermediate Punishment, which includes 90 days work release.
Justin Allen Garlock was ordered to between three and 12 months in the Franklin County Prison for simple assault. He was given credit for time previously served and will be paroled at the completion of the sentence.
Garlock also appeared for sentencing on two additional cases involving harassment and simple assault. He will complete and additional three to 11 months in the Franklin County Prison and pay $250 in fines.
Jaymir Khali Hall- Huger will complete between nine and 36 months in a state correctional institution in connection with a case that involved receiving stolen property, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer and recklessly endangering another person. Hall- Huger will serve the sentence at the expiration of a sentence in Blair County. Fines totalling $500 were also imposed.
David Harold Bivens waived formal arraignment proceedings held on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and two traffic, summary offenses. Bivens was admitted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative
Disposition (ARD) program and will accordingly complete 12 months probation.
Joshua Ryan Chaney waived arraignment proceedings held on two counts each of burglary and theft by unlawful taking. Chaney pleaded guilty to one count of theft and will be sentenced May 28.
Maria Estella Irwin appeared last Tuesday and waived arraignment on one count of theft by unlawful taking. She was admitted into the ARD program and will complete 12 months probation.
Charles W. Richards was granted a continuance until May 7 at which time he will be arraigned on charges of aggravated assault by vehicle, recklessly endangering another person, accidents involving damage to attended property, accidents involving death or injury and 16 summary, traffic offenses.
Laura Robinson waived arraignment and pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol and five summary, traffic offenses. Robinson is next slated to appear in court for the July call of the criminal trial list.
Peter Harmon Schwartz waived arraignment proceedings on two counts of simple assault, two counts of recklessly endangering another person, two counts of terroristic threats and one count of disorderly conduct. Schwartz pleaded guilty to terroristic threats and will complete 48 months probation.
Joshua Rupert Baker failed to appear in court for a probation/parole violation hearing. A bench warrant was issued for Baker’s arrest.
