Cards Of Thanks

BERGSTRESSER

The family of Lena Richards Bergstresser, a/k/a “ Granny,” would like to thank everyone for all the beautiful flowers, cards and sympathy shared with our family during the loss of our mother and grandmother.

Special thanks go to ManorCare, Arcadia Unit, for the wonderful care given to Granny during her stay with them. Also to Cito Methodist Church, its members and Pastor Godissart for a special service; Cathy Richards and Dakota Deneen for the beautiful music; and Heartland Hospice for the special care given to Granny and family. Also to Darrin and staff from Sipes Funeral Home for helping us make the arrangements and decisions easy and quickly.

God bless,

The family of Lena

HANCOCK WAR

MEMORIAL LIBRARY

The Hancock War Memorial Library, a branch of the Washington County Free Library, would like to thank the Preceptor Gamma Pi Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi International and Lisa Fischer, president of Warfordsburg chapter, for its generous donation to the library for the purchase of new children’s books.

This kind donation is greatly appreciated, and will help the children of Hancock “dig into reading” this summer, and for many years to come.

PALMER

My family and I would like to thank Warfordsburg Senior Center for my 95th birthday celebration, and thanks to everyone who gave and sent birthday cards.

I would also like to thank Dott Store for the Goldwing Motorcycle Club birthday party celebration.

Floyd Palmer and family

RED CROSS

Thank you to Jason Ritchey and Lincoln Way Pizza for providing delicious food for the Red Cross blood drive at McConnellsburg American Legion held in March. Also, a big thank you to all the volunteers and all the donors.
