Call Of The Criminal Trial List

STAFF REPORT

Judge Angela R. Krom of the 39th Judicial District and the Fulton/Franklin County Court of Common Pleas presided over call of the criminal trial list held on Tuesday, April 9.

 Terrie Lee Box failed to appear for call of the criminal trial list last Tuesday on one count of false identification to law enforcement authorities. A bench warrant was issued for Box’s arrest.

 Jeffrey Lee Brown pleaded guilty to driving-under the-influence, driving on roadways laned for traffic, driving without a license and careless driving. Brown will be sentenced on May 14.

 Robert Allen Helsel IV appeared in court and pleaded guilty to driving-under the-influence of a controlled substance and driving under the influence related to driving on a suspended license. Helsel will be sentenced at a later date.

 Hakeem L. Jefferson failed to appear in court on two unrelated cases involving simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, harassment, endangering the welfare of children, driving under the influence of a controlled substance and three summary vehicle offenses. It was noted Jefferson was currently receiving treatment and unable to attend the court proceeding. A written court order was issued in the matter.

 Lance Joshua Mellott was granted a continuance until the July trial term on charges of aggravated assault, terroristic threats, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and harassment.

 Ronald Anokye Oduro was granted a continuance until the July trial term on charges of delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.

 Mandy Lou Robenolt failed to appear in court on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. A bench warrant was issued for the arrest of Robenolt, who appeared before Judge Carol L. Van Horn later in the week. A pretrial conference was scheduled for April 16, and a jury will be selected on April 22.

 Wykil Laquan Sherrod was granted a continuance until the July trial term on charges of firearms not to be carried without a license, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana, the use or possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding.

 Heather Marie Shore entered a guilty-plea to theft by deception. A mini presentence investigation will be required prior to sentencing on June 18.

 Loren Ryan Stains entered a guilty-plea to driving under the influence of a controlled substance. He will be sentenced on May 14.

 Ali June Washabaugh entered a plea of guilty to driving under the influence of a controlled substance and was sentenced to between 72 hours and six months in the Franklin County Prison.

 Joshua Weaver was granted a continuance until the July trial term on charges of burglary, criminal trespassing, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief.

 Michelle Lynn Weimer was ordered to six months work release in the Cambria County Prison in connection with a guilty-plea to driving under the influence of alcohol.
