MEMORY JOGGER

This week's Memory Jogger, submitted by the Fulton County Historical Society Library, shows an ox team with a dozen people in front of the Daniel McConnell house and adjoining marble tombstone shop on Lincoln Way West in McConnellsburg. The buildings are home today to owner Caroline Greenfeldt and tenant Gordon Fox. Dated 1894, the photo was in an old scrapbook donated to the society by the family of the late Tillie Sloan Wine. Tillie's mother, Mabel Trout Sloan, is likely one of the girls riding in the cart.
