Action begins in Wonka’s Factory as Willy sings come with me and you’ll be in a world of “Pure Imagination.” I am Willy Wonka. In the course of my long and spectacular career, I have created more than two hundred sensational and original new candy bars, each with a different center, and each one sweeter and creamier and more delicious than the one before! I have also created the biggest and best candy empire the world has ever known. But I have no one to replace me, no one to make new candy dreams come true when I retire. And the time for me to retire is, alas, already long overdue! Please gather together all the Oompa-Loompa! I have an important announcement to make. Come and enjoy this fun loving musical and see how Wonka gives five special children a chance of a lifetime.

Admission is adults $5 and students $4. Advance tickets can be purchased in the high school office. Show dates are April 4, 5 and 6, at 7 p.m., in the high school auditorium. Doors open at 6 p.m.

The MHS SADD will sponsor a spaghetti dinner Saturday evening, April 6, before the musical, starting at 5 p.m. until 6:45 p.m. Takeout meals will also be provided. Donations will be accepted.
