Cards Of Thanks
The family of Virginia Gordon wish to thank everyone who offered their condolences with their cards, flowers, food and personal kind words in the loss of our mother and grandmother. Thank you to Pastor Dan Porterfield, Pleasant Ridge Church of the Nazarene and the ladies of Damascus Christian Church for preparing and serving the meal for us following the service. You kindness is most appreciated.

The Fulton County Historical Society would like to thank Cub Scout Troop 43, along with its leaders, and also Harvey Berkstresser and Richard Miller, for the cleanup of the historic Big Spring Cemetery, one of the oldest cemeteries in the state.
The remains of early settlers plus unmarked graves of those killed in the Great Cove Massacre of 1755 are laid to rest in the cemetery.
I just celebrated my 93rd birthday and I received 52 birthday cards from family, friends, good neighbors, churches, clubs and so many wonderful friends. With me there is no such thing as strangers, they are only friends I haven’t met yet.
I received clothes, food, flowers, jewelry and even a couple greenbacks, so again thank you from my heart and just remember me in your prayers. Come visit me. Always a friend to everyone and may God bless you.
HUSTONTOWN SENIOR CENTER
We would like to say thank you and express our appreciation to the local VFW for its generosity in support of the Hustontown Senior Center. With its recent donations we were able to replace our nonworking TV with a new big screen TV.
Also, a big thank-you to the Fraternity of the Eagles club for its donation to benefit our senior center as well.
Your kindness is greatly appreciated.
