Overview of this construction season and future projects

Hollidaysburg – The 2013 Transportation Outreach meeting for Fulton County will be held Tuesday, March 26, beginning at 1:30 p.m., at the Fulton County Maintenance Building, 22907 Great Cove Road in McConnellsburg.

District Executive Thomas A. Prestash said, “This is the 15th consecutive year that PennDOT’s Engineering District 9 has conducted outreach meetings for legislators, municipal officials, planning and economic development agencies and community leaders in each of our six counties. Outreach is an initiative to communicate with our partners in the numerous municipalities of upcoming projects and to gather input that will move the department forward.”

This year’s program will include an overview of Penn- DOT’s highway and bridge projects planned for the county in 2013 as well as a chance to discuss county maintenance operations. A special segment of the program will address concerns and topics submitted on a pre-meeting questionnaire by attendees. Each session should last about 90 minutes.
