The Southern Fulton School District Annual Student Art Festival will be held at the elementary school on Great Cove Road Sunday, March 17, from noon to 3 p.m.

A collection of 30 painted furniture pieces completed by high 9th through 12th graders will be on display in the upstairs lobby to welcome visitors. Throughout the rest of the building, there will be artwork from students in grades K through 12 and various demonstrations on handcrafts presented by students. In addition to the student art exhibit, there will be a PTA concession stand and the Needmore Fire Co. will be on hand to allow children, their parents and all visiting community members to see their fire trucks.

The entire lower lot will be closed off so it can be filled with fire trucks and rescue vehicles for everyone to see and enjoy up close! Several free activities for children will also be available, including face painting, paper windsocks and simple origami. The event is free and open to the public and everyone is welcome to stop by and enjoy some great artwork and fellowship with the art students.
