Public Opinion weekly basketball honor roll student athlete was Tony White of McConnellsburg.

A dodgeball tournament was held Sunday in the alumni building. Proceeds benefitted Tristan Douglas and Cody Trail, who are both fighting cancer.

Margaret “Peggy” Kokoska of Myers Avenue celebrated her 82nd birthday on Sunday. She and her friends from her apartment building marked the day with birthday cake and ice cream.

Cito United Methodist Church and McConnellsburg United Methodist Church youth group enjoyed a cardboard sled derby on Sunday at Whitetail Ski Resort. The sleds were built by the youths. Snow tubing followed the race.
