Court Session Held February 12
Judge Shawn D. Meyers of the 39th Judicial District and the Fulton/Franklin County Court of Common Pleas presided over a court session held Tuesday, February 12, at the Fulton County Courthouse.
Catina Renee Carnell appeared last Tuesday for sentencing on one count each of forgery and theft by deception. Carnell was ordered to complete a total of 60 months probation and 80 hours of community service for the offenses as well as undergo any necessary drug and alcohol evaluations/ treatment. She is not permitted to possess, own or transfer a firearm. In addition to various fines and fees, she will pay restitution totalling $ 1,586 to CNB Bank. waived formal arraignment proceedings held on two counts of driving under the influence and two traffic summary offenses. Berkstresser was admitted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program and will accordingly complete 12 months probation.
Jared Arthur Linscott waived arraignment and was admitted into the ARD program on four counts of driving under the influence; one count of the use or possession of drug paraphernalia; and three summary offenses. Linscott will complete 12 months probation.
Ryan Matthew Little waived arraignment on two counts of simple assault; four counts of terroristic threats; and one count of harassment. Little pleaded guilty to one count of simple assault and will be sentenced on March 12.
Keith Percell Thomas waived arraignment proceedings held on three counts of driving under the influence and six traffic summary offenses. Thomas pleaded guilty to driving under the influence and accidents with damage to an unattended vehicle or property. He will be sentenced at a later date.
Tabetha Lynn Mellott entered a guilty plea to driving under the influence of alcohol and will be sentenced to March 12. Maximum penalty in the case is six months incarceration and a $5,000 fine. Meanwhile, the mandatory minimum is 48 hours incarceration.
