Judge Krom Holds Court Session
Judge Angela R. Krom of the 39th Judicial District and the Fulton/Franklin County Court of Common Pleas presided over a court session held at the Fulton County Courthouse on Tuesday, February 5.
Terri Lee Box appeared for formal arraignment last Tuesday on charges of false identification to law enforcement authorities. Box pleaded not guilty and will reappear in court for the April call of the criminal trial list.
Tina Maria Fama waived arraignment on one count each of perjury and false swearing. She entered a guilty plea to perjury as well as one count of welfare fraud from a separate case. A presentence investigation report will be prepared by the Fulton County Probation Department. Sentencing in both cases has been scheduled for March 12.
Robert Allen Helsel IV waived arraignment proceedings and entered a notguilty plea to three counts of driving under the influence, endangering the welfare of children and four summary offenses. Helsel will reappear in court for the April call of the criminal trial list.
Michelle Lynn Weimer waived arraignment and pleaded not guilty to two counts of driving under the influence and six summary offenses. Weimer will next appear in court for the April call of the criminal trial list.
Layla Ann Wood entered a plea of guilty to the use or possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under suspended registration. In addition to fines and fees, Wood will complete six months probation.
Samuel Gardner Ranck III appeared in court last Tuesday for a probation violation hearing. He was sentenced to complete between three and 12 months in the Franklin County Jail and was granted five days credit for time previously served.
