Forbes Road 62

Belleville Mennonite 29

Forbes Road broke a seven game losing streak Monday night when they ran away for a 62-29 win over Belleville Mennonite. Three members of the Cardinal squad reached double figures with Tristan Gelvin paving the way with 11 points and nine rebounds. Teammates Kyle Schoen and Tyson Berkstresser each added 10 and Macklin Hawkins rounded out the day with nine points.

Southern Fulton 69

Southern Huntingdon 28

Southern Fulton had little difficulty handling Southern Huntingdon Monday night blasting the Rockets by the score of 69-28. Nick Smartt netted 22 points and teammate Jordan Clingerman followed with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Alex Seburn was the next highest scorer with eight points.

Frederick Force 66

Frederick Force hit some key shots late in the game against Fulton County Community Christian School to pull away for a 66-48 victory. Skyler Gordon had 25 points and seven rebounds to lead the Chargers. Caleb Gingerich added a double-double with 17 points, 16 rebounds and five steals.

Huntingdon Christian 75

FCCCS 62

Huntingdon Christian sank three three-pointers in the final two minutes of its match against Fulton County Community Christian School to clinch a 75-62 victory. Caleb Gingerich rallied for a whopping 32 points, 18 rebounds and nine steals for the Chargers. Skyler Gordon rounded out the game with 18 points, five steals and five assists.

Northern Bedford 84

Forbes Road 43

Northern Bedford kept expanding its early lead and ended last Thursday’s Sideling Hill League game in a 84- 43 win over Forbes Road. The Cardinals finished out the game with 15 points from Tristan Gelvin. Kyle Schoen added 10 points, and Chase Shaw had six points, three assists and three steals. Teammate Macklin Hawkins finished with six points and six rebounds.

McConnellsburg 78

Fannett-Metal 67

Tyler Green sunk a career high 30 points Friday night during the Spartans’ big 78-67 win over rivals from Fannett- Metal. Spartan teammate Jesse Swope chipped in with 15 points during the Sideling Hill League victory, and Nick Daniels and Hunter Miller finished out the day with 12 and 11 points, respectively.

Southern Fulton 61

Forbes Road 35

Southern Fulton’s defense held Forbes Road to single digits in two periods of Friday night’s game, which ended with the Indians easily securiing another victory. Winning the Sideling Hill League game by the score of 61-35, the Indians were led by Nick Smartt with 20 points and four assists. Alex Seburn reached double figures with 10 points, and Connor Litton rallied for nine points, four assists and five steals. Meanwhile, the Cardinals got 13 points from Tristan Gelvin, who also had two assists. Macklin Hawkins fell just shy of reaching a double-double with 10 points and eight rebounds.

McConnellsburg 38

James Buchanan had 13 of their 16 players find the net Saturday during the Rockets 53-38 non-league win over McConnellsburg. Tyler Green netted 11 points and dished out three assists. Jesse Swope had eight points and two steals, and Nick Daniels contributed six points and six rebounds.

Shanksville 34

Southern Fulton 27

Nick Smartt scored nine points for the Southern Fulton Indians, who lost a nonleague match to Shanksville Saturday by the final score of 34-27. In addition to Smartt finding the net, teammate Connor Litton posted six points, six rebounds and three steals. Brady Golden also had six points and blocked three shots.

Two members of the Southern Fulton Indians’ team reached double figures last Tuesday during a 53-46 victory over the Tussey Mountain Titans. Jordan Clingerman posted 17 points and 13 rebounds for another double-double. Meanwhile, teammate Brady Golden rallied for 12 points. Connor Litton added seven points and five assists.

Northern Bedford 64

McConnellsburg 52

Teammates Tyler Green and Tony White rallied for a combined 38 points last Tuesday during the Mc- Connellsburg Spartans’ 64- 52 loss to Northern Bedford. Green finished the Sideling Hill League game with 20 points, and White tallied 18 points, 10 rebounds and six assists.

Chestnut Ridge 69

Forbes Road 40

Chestnut Ridge jumped out with 20 unanswered points during the first period of last Wednesday evening’s match and moved on to a 69- 40 win over Forbes Road. The Cardinals received nine points and six rebounds from Kyle Schoen, and Tristan Gelvin followed with seven points and six rebounds. Tyson Berkstresser also had seven points during the Sideling Hill League game.

The Fulton County Community Christian School Chargers shot poorly from the field during the first half of their match with Frederick Force, which ended in a 40-19 loss. Jenae Gordon tallied 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Lady Chargers, who also received 10 rebounds from Hannah Beddow.

McConnellsburg 51

James Buchanan 45

Trailing at the halftime break Saturday night, James Buchanan was never able to reduce the deficit and ended the non-league game in a 51- 45 loss to the McConnellsburg Lady Spartans. Jessi Keefer scored 17 points and pulled down eight rebounds to lead the Spartans during their victory. Nikki Fleming poured in 11 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Cheyenne Carbaugh finished with 11 points, 13 rebounds and four assists.

Fannett-Metal 59

Having dropped a match earlier in the season, Mc- Connellsburg finally had the opportunity to get its revenge last Thursday, downing the Fannett-Metal Tigers 65-59. Nikki Fleming had 18 points and eight assists for the Lady Spartans during the Sideling Hill League game. Jessi Keefer followed closely with 17 points and 15 rebounds for yet another double-double. Brittany Parson and Kylie Zittle finished out the match with 12 and 10 points, respectively.

Macey Hollenshead tallied 23 points for the victorious Southern Fulton Lady Indians last Thursday, unfortunately just seven points shy of reaching her 1,000- point career milestone. In leading the Indians during a 78-36 Sideling Hill League win over Forbes Road, Hollenshead also posted 11 rebounds, 11 assists and seven steals. Taelor Morton and Ashley Roman added 17 and 16 points, respectively. Shayla Carmack and Braylin Hohman both rallied for 10 points for the Cardinals, and Carmack also had four assists and two steals. Hohman led the defense with seven rebounds.

Northern Bedford 74

McConnellsburg 36

Northern Bedford was hot from the the three-point zone last Tuesday cruising onto a 74-36 Sideling Hill League win over Mc- Connellsburg. The Lady Spartans got 20 points and one blocked shot from Jessi Keefer. In addition, Nikki Fleming added five points, 13 rebounds and one blocked shot.

Southern Huntingdon 33

Forbes Road broke a sixgame losing streak last Tuesday to down the Southern Huntingdon Rockets by the final score of 56-33. Shayla Carmack led the Lady Cardinals with 14 points and five steals to lead during the Inter County Conference game. Braylin Hohman added nine points. Sammie Clippinger had six points and six rebounds.

Forbes Road 53

Chestnut Ridge 42

Coming off a win the previous evening, Forbes Road picked up its second straight victory last Wednesday with a 53-42 Sideling Hill League win over Chestnut Ridge. Braylin Hohman netted 21 points and pulled down eight rebounds. Shayla Carmack followed with 13 points and five assists, and Corri Parsons rounded out the game with seven points.
