Shuster Visits Medical Center



Recently named chairman of the U.S. House of Representatives’ Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, Rep. Bill Shuster (R-Pa. 9th) toured the Fulton County Medical Center on Friday. Shuster commented to hospital CEO Jason Hawkins that his first-ever “earmark’’ was for the architectural study for the new hospital. He joked, “Who said earmarks are all bad?’’ The congressman also had a chance to visit the construction area of the new wound care services and dropped in on a Medical Center luncheon meeting.
