Southern Fulton 65

Everett 30

Nick Smartt continued to lead the Southern Fulton Indians’ offense on Saturday during a 65-30 ousting of the Everett Warriors. Smartt tallied a game-high 25 points during the Sideling Hill League game, while teammate Jordan Clingerman had a double-double after posting 13 points and 12 rebounds.

Juniata Mennonite 63


Caleb Gingerich had an outstanding game for the Fulton County Community Christian School recently, pouring in 18 points during the team’s 63-29 loss to Juniata Mennonite. Gingerich also pulled down 21 rebounds and made nine steals.

Grace Academy 67


Grace Academy relied on its deep bench to pull off a 67- 56 win over Fulton County Community Christian School recently. Skyler Gordon led the Chargers’ offensive effort with a whopping 35 points. Caleb Gingerich also reached double digits with 17 points, 19 rebounds and five steals.

Mercersburg Academy 72


The Fulton County Community Christian School allowed its eight-point lead to slip away in the final period, with a select team from Mercersburg Academy pulling off a 72- 67 non- league win. Skyler Gordon set a new school record after posting 46 points. Teammate Caleb Gingerich added 13 points, 13 rebounds and four assists.

Everett 64

McConnellsburg 62

McConnellsburg pushed last Wednesday’s Sideling Hill League game into overtime before Everett was able to slip away for a slim 64-62 win. Tony White pumped in 20 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Spartans with a double-double. Jesse Swope followed with 15 points, and Hunter Miller netted 14.

Southern Fulton 66

Hancock 22

The Southern Fulton Indians leveled out their season record at 6-6 last Thursday evening with a decisive 44- point win over Hancock, Md. Clinching the non-league match 66-22, Nick Smartt netted 16 points for the Indians. Jordan Clingerman added 15 points and two blocked shots. Alex Seburn led the defensive effort with 13 rebounds.

Tussey Mountain 56

Forbes Road 43

Tussey Mountain commanded an early lead and essentially never looked back last Tuesday night when the Titans handily defeated Forbes Road by the final score of 56-43. Tristan Gelvin was the high scorer for the Cardinals with 13 points and three assists. Kyle Schoen rounded out the Sideling Hill League match with eight points and six rebounds.

Northern Bedford 61

Southern Fulton 54

Even though Southern Fulton managed to shoot 51 percent from the floor it wasn’t enough to overcome Northern Bedford last Tuesday. Dropping the Sideling Hill League game by the score of 61-54, the Indians got 17 points from Nick Smartt. Jordan Clingerman added 12 points, four blocked shots and six rebounds.

McConnellsburg 69

Cumberland Valley

Christian 63

The McConnellsburg Spartans and Cumberland Valley Christian battled it out last Monday night with the Spartans narrowly prevailing by six points. Tyler Green tallied 22 points for McConnellsburg, who also got 15 points and 12 assists from Tyrelle White. Tony White followed with 10 points and five assists, and Nick Daniels also had 10 points.

Juniata Mennonite 36

Down by five points heading into the final period, Fulton County Community Christian School pulled off a nail-biter with a one-point win over Juniata Mennonite. Jenae Gordon tallied 20 points, 10 rebounds and four steals to lead the Chargers on to victory. Hannah Beddow followed with five points and 10 rebounds.

Grace Academy 34


The Fulton County Community Christian School Chargers saw their season record even out at 4-4 recently with a narrow 34-32 loss to Grace Academy. Jenae Gordon netted 21 points and had 14 boards during the match. Hannah Beddow added 15 rebounds.

Hyndman 54

Forbes Road 45

The Forbes Road Lady Cardinals saw their season record dip to 3- 10 last Wednesday with a 54-45 loss to Hyndman. Braylin Hohman had almost half of Forbes Road’s points after netting 21 points and pulling down six rebounds. Sam Clippinger posted nine points and three assists.

McConnellsburg 37

Southern Huntingdon 15

McConnellsburg’s defense held the Southern Huntingdon Rockets to only 15 points while the Lady Spartan offense cruised to a 22-point victory last Thursday evening. Brittany Parson reached double digits for the Lady Spartans with 10 points, and Nikki Fleming posted eight points, five steals, four assists and eight rebounds.

Everett 67

Southern Fulton 43

The Southern Fulton Lady Indians were handed their very first loss of the season last Thursday when Everett doused their perfect record with a 67-43 Sideling Hill League win. With 16 points and five steals, Macey Hollenshead led the Indians. Celina Merchant and Taelor Morton were the next-highest scorers with six points each

Northern Bedford 48

Forbes Road 38

Two members of the Forbes Road Lady Cardinals squad reached double figures last Thursday evening during a 48-38 loss to Northern Bedford. Shayla Carmack tallied 14 points, four steals and one blocked shot for Forbes Road. Meanwhile, Sam Clippinger added 12 points and seven rebounds. Braylin Hohman closed out the Sideling Hill League game with eight points.

McConnellsburg 44

A two-game winning streak came to a halt last Tuesday evening when the McConnellsburg Lady Spartans fell to Everett by 22 points. Jessi Keefer led Mc- Connellsburg’s offense, posting 18 points and two blocked shots. Sam Roberts added nine points, four assists and two steals during the Sideling Hill League loss.

Cumberland Valley

Christian 12

Nine players found the net for McConnellsburg last Monday to push the Lady Spartans over Cumberland Valley Christian by the score of 38-12. Jessi Keefer was the team’s high scorer with eight points, while teammate Kylie Keefer rallied for seven points. Nikki Fleming and Sam Roberts both tallied six points and posted five assists and four steals, respectively.

Macey Hollenshead scored half of Southern Fulton’s points last Monday evening during the Lady Indians 52- 33 Sideling Hill League win over Northern Bedford. Hollenshead closed out the day with 26 points, seven rebounds, four assists and four steals. Taelor Morton chipped in 12 points.

Tussey Mountain 59

Forbes Road 6

The Forbes Road Lady Cardinals scored two points in three periods last Monday night during a 59-6 loss to Tussey Mountain. Shayla Carmack, Sam Clippinger and Braylin Hohman each scored two points for Forbes Road.
